The Gold Beach

47km / About 3h30 to pedal

Even if Gold Beach is not the best known of the 5 D-Day landing beaches, it participated just as much in the liberation of France thanks to the British allies.

Oyster and seafood lovers:

the village of Asnelles will leave you

time to taste this

exceptional culinary heritage .

You will then take the VéloMaritime to reach Arromanches and discover the Mulberry. You will be able to admire a unique land - sea panorama from the top of the cliffs and set off again in the direction of Longues sur Mer for a stop at the site of the German Battery , still containing

its canons of the time.

Le Bessin is not only

shore to landing.

We are lucky to also have a magnificent bocage countryside.

Winding through intimate roads, you will appreciate these rural landscapes, whose colors and smells change

over the 4 seasons!

You can enjoy a moment of rest and calm by visiting the Abbaye de Juaye Mondaye and even meet its community  composed of 44 religious,  who continues to keep this sacred place alive.

The Mulberry

Through small roads which allowed our allies to liberate Bayeux on June 7, 1944, discover this piece of history, of incredible engineering!

At the top of the cliff, on a route designed for bicycles, enjoy a breathtaking panorama!!!

Stop planned at the German battery of Longues sur Mer, which will allow you to relive the inaugural scene of the film on

"Longest Day"

"Goal Omaha"

The highlight of this circuit, Omaha beach and the American cemetery, the only annexed territory in mainland France.

Here was written one of the greatest pages of modern history.

A place full of emotion and authenticity.

You can visit for free and have free access to all the historical remains of this tragic episode.  of our history.

Juno

49 km / About 3h30 to pedal

Explore the roads and the area of Courseulles-sur-Mer that our Canadian allies liberated on D-Day. You can make a stop along the way at the British Memorial in Ver-sur-Mer, but also visit the Juno Beach Centre in Courseulles to relive and better understand how this beach, along with Omaha, Utah, Gold Beach, and Sword Beach, contributed to writing a new chapter in history.
